Borak is a Turkish DJ and producer whose sound blends electronica, afro house, deep house, and indie dance, with subtle influences from rock and synthwave. He began as a radio host and DJ in Turkey, where he built a reputation for thoughtful curation and a distinct style. Since relocating to the U.S. in 2017, he has become part of Los Angeles’s underground scene and continues to connect with listeners globally through his releases and his radio platforms, The Ukiyo Podcast and The Kontrast Radio. His music has been released on labels including Magician on Duty, Inner Shah Recordings, Pipe & Pochet, 3000Grad, and Around Midnight. Notable releases include Path to Jimmyland and the Again Again EP, along with remixes for other artists that reflect his steady, rhythm-driven approach. Performed alongside artists such as Guy J, Dixon, Keinemusik, DJ Tennis, Bob Moses, Damian Lazarus, Jimi Jules, Âme, , Adam Ten, and Mita Gami. His work has taken him to events including Burning Man, Echoes From Agartha in Cappadocia, Gates of Agartha in Croatia, and Lightning in a Bottle. He recently toured Brazil during carnival season with dates across multiple cities, expanding his presence in South America. With a focus on tribal grooves, live instrumentation, and bass-forward energy, his sets are designed to be immersive—whether in clubs, festivals, or outdoor locations. His work is guided by a long-term approach, prioritizing depth, consistency, and musical identity over trends.
