Brittany Anjou is an improvisation-based musician, composer, pianist, keyboardist, and vibraphonist. Focusing on the lexicon of jazz while blending versatile experiences in her compositions, Anjou plays with intentionality and high energy in her live performances and studio recordings. She produced and released her critically acclaimed original debut album, Enamiĝo Reciprokataj (Reciprocal Love, 2019) on Origin Records. She collaborated with Ghanaian xylophonist Alfred Kpebesaane and Roman Angelos for the album Nong Voru, who she met at the Dagara Music Center in Ghana while studying with the late master xylophonist Bernard Woma. She has worked with artists such as Jeremy Pelt, Michael Eaton, Elysian Fields, and The Shaggs.
