An underground acoustic pop artist.
The emotional landscape of Bryce Drew's music is brilliantly unsteady, with peaks and valleys ascending from emotive ballads into rhythmic pop anthems that carry the heartbeat of her Caribbean-American roots. In her soulful dexterity as an artist, and her innate ability to draw out complex emotions often hidden in the mundane, Bryce Drew reveals all the elements of a singular voice on the rise. The singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist grafts vintage influences with the aesthetic and momentum of modern pop, reflecting inspiration from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Alanis Morissette- but always as her own North Star. Bryce has previously toured as the US support act for Nina Nesbitt and has also performed as support for artists such as Dylan Conrique, Zoe Wees, Nicotine Dolls, Bre Kennedy and James Gillespie. With her rich, honeyed vocal soaring over imaginative finger style guitar; Bryce Drew will have you searching the blue shadowy corners of your memory, longing for a sweet sip of golden nostalgia.
