A homegrown, underground indie rock artist.
Bushwick Princess is the brainchild of Matt Francini (Vox, Guitar, Producer), Andrew Miller (Bass) and Kane Delaney (Drums). The Brooklyn trio met through playing shows via different projects around New York, and, upon realizing they were neighbors, decided to form their own collective vision for a band. Unifying them is the view that no one single genre or style would define their music. Instead they pay homage all their musical heroes across the years, from as far reaching as the 70s to underground electronic music of today. Their first EP “Bushwick Princess” is currently being released as a series of singles throughout the year as they write their next body of work and continue to play shows across the city. Everything is written, recorded, and produced from their home studio in Brooklyn. We live to play live, our only goal for the band is to play larger and larger shows in the iconic venues that inspire us.
Bushwick Princess plays a blend of indie rock, darkwave, and post-punk, incorporating electronic elements and drawing influences from the 70s to modern underground music.
