Cactus Ponchos

Hailing from Riverside, California, our band emerged during the challenging days of Covid-19 in 2020. What began as a group of friends jamming together has evolved into a dynamic lineup, shaped by our collective passion for music. Our sound is a vibrant tapestry woven from influences spanning early new wave icons like The Cure and New Order to contemporary indie favorites such as Surf Curse, Dayglow, and Current Joys. In October 2024, we took the stage for our first live performances, showcasing our eclectic blend of post-punk, bedroom pop, and surf/garage indie. Since then, we've played at renowned venues throughout Southern California, including The Viper Room in Hollywood, Permanent Records in Los Angeles, and The Haven in Pomona, CA. As we continue to evolve and create, we invite you to join us on our musical journey where nostalgia meets innovation, and every note celebrates our shared love for music. Stay tuned for what’s next!
