Born in Navàs, he began his musical training at the School of Music Mestre Josep Maria Castella and later studied singing with maestro Jorge Sirena. He gained early experience performing with Polifònica de Puig-Reig, the Chorus of the Faculty of Pharmacy (Universitat de Barcelona), and the Opera Sabadell Chorus. He has been awarded in major international competitions such as Neue Stimmen in Gütersloh (2022), Tenor Viñas in Barcelona (2017), Concurso Internacional de Canto Alfredo Kraus in Las Palmas (2018), and Francisco Araiza in Hermosillo (2017), as well as several national contests. In 2018 he received the Opera Actual Young Artist Prize, and in 2022 the Ópera XXI Award for Best Young Performer for his acclaimed Papageno in The Magic Flute at Ópera de Oviedo. He furthered his training at the Accademia Rossiniana Alberto Zedda in Pesaro (2018) and later joined the International Opera Studio at Staatsoper Unter den Linden (2021–23), becoming an ensemble member from the 2024/25 season. His repertoire spans Mozart, Donizetti, and Puccini, with a special affinity for Rossini. He has also appeared in symphonic works such as Zemlinsky’s Lyric Symphony, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mozart’s Requiem, and Beethoven’s Ninth, as well as outreach projects making opera accessible to new audiences. Upcoming engagements include performances at Staatsoper Berlin, Liceu and Teatro Real.
