Carson Strassman is a multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles, California. He is inspired by the indie/rock live scene in New York and is heavily influenced by artists like Mac Miller, Roy Blair , and Duster. His background in film allows him to make his own music videos and visual art for his music and others. He moved to New York in 2021 and has worked in various music studios as a recording engineer. He currently works at Mercy Sound in Manhattan and Don One Sound in Brooklyn. He has assisted the producer of The Strokes, Gordon Raphael, and has learned recording techniques from mic'ing drums and amps to using tape machines. He has recorded and engineered for Parents, Hypercynical Peacemaker, Investigation, & Water Gun. He is currently going to The PowerStation Berklee NYC for his masters, and will be releasing more music soon! Carsonstrassman.com
