A homegrown, underground hip hop artist.
Cartier refers to the finer things in life and if Quarters are worth less than a dollar, then Cartier Quarters means finding beauty in the struggle. Growing up in NYC lower income housing, CQ grew accustomed to a life in the streets. Hustling and surviving; the only things he ever knew. Yet despite his surroundings, he learned to see the beauty in life and escape the darkness through poetry and music. Using many of his struggles, CQ started making music to push him through the hardest of times; creating a world of intersectional music.
Cartier Quarters plays underground rap rooted in gritty street narratives and poetic introspection.
Cartier Quarters is from New York City.
