ChaChaChalina is a Dutch latinband who brings an explosive mix of Latin jazz and salsa that pulls you straight onto the dance floor. Led by singer and percussionist Chalina Smit, who sings while playing powerful grooves on the congas, and joined by Venezuelan master percussionist Gerardo Rosales, the band delivers high-energy, groove-driven music with a distinctive sound. After reaching the finals of the Conservatory Talent Award (2020), they released Mira antes de saltar (2021) and El Reflejo (2023). On May 28, 2026, ChaChaChalina releases their new album Mujeres Fuertes, an ode to strong female role models.
