From a young age Chenoa has been in her own musical world. Her shoegazey, death rocker, musician Mom paved the way for her love of music. She would fill the apartment with her own creations as well as The Cure, Bauhaus, Cocteau Twins, and David Bowie just to name a few. At home it was an eclectic mix of rock music however at her Aunties house it filled with soul. Al Green, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye and the like. In her teen years Chenoa dove head first into the metal scene (it was 2004 you know the vibe) she became friends with local bands and realized her love of song creation. Her dream quickly became to sing as beautifully as her Mother and of course, Hayley Williams. As she grew so did her love for different genres of music. She fell in love with hip hop, RnB, dubstep, alt pop, electronic, indie, and so many more. Chenoa’s soundscapes are an homage to the stories and the worlds that influenced her. In her own creations her goal is to connect with her audience and remind them that even on their darkest days they aren’t alone. @chenoatarin www.chenoatarin.com
