An underground experimental artist from the local scene.
Claudia Khachan is an artist whose work is marked by quiet intensity, emerging from a deeply personal and observational perspective. Her creative practice is both introspective and performative, rooted in themes of distance, memory, and reflection. Through various mediums, she explores the act of recalling and seeks to capture the essence of fleeting moments. Originally trained in Fashion Design at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts, Claudia soon shifted her focus to performance, recognizing it as her most authentic mode of expression. In 2022, she was nominated for Fashion Trust Arabia, yet her artistic evolution led her to a deeper passion for performance and collaboration. This shift allowed her to explore new realms of connection, interaction, and self-discovery. Claudia's work creates spaces for reflection, inviting her audience to engage with the layered narratives of memory, identity, and emotion. Her debut EP, Illisaud and Her Sister (released November 24, 2024), is an emotionally charged exploration of a fading memory. Through the interplay of organ melodies and her vocals, she transcends the conventional expectations of musical duration, offering a space for contemplation and emotional release.
