Luca and Lorenzo are a Milan-based duo, both pianists with a jazz background, producing and DJing since 2015. Contro il Metodo is where those two paths meet: electronic music written with the ear of musicians who came up improvising, but built squarely for the dance floor. The production is tight and club-oriented, with a strong focus on sound design, glitch, and immersive atmosphere. Direct grooves, defined tracks, attention to detail without losing physicality. The jazz roots stay in the background but shape the way arrangements breathe, with phrasing, dynamics, and harmonic detail running under the rhythmic surface. The project debuted with Proposta per lo studio del ritmo, followed by Reward Systems EP on Dropzi Records. Since 2023 the duo has played in Milan at Gate, Apollo, Vacuum, NAMA, Company Club, Plastic, with further dates across Italy. Ipernaturalismo, their third release, is the clearest statement of the project so far. Six tracks with a distinct sonic identity, where groove and sound design carry equal weight. Ipernaturalismo is nature returning to itself as its own exact copy. Mediation is gone. Silence is gone. Only a pure surface remains where every event is its own immediate encoding.
