Cortado

Cortado is a DJ and producer blending melodic elements with modern, groove-forward energy. He draws from a musical background rooted in Indie Rock, Funk and Soul, bringing those influences into a warm, percussive approach to House music. Cortado’s musical journey began at the age of 11, when he picked up his first guitar and quickly fell in love with rock and roll and indie rock. Years of playing guitar and exploring different sounds shaped his instinct for melody, rhythm and musicianship. As he continued to develop musically, he discovered electronic music through artists such as Daft Punk, Bonobo, Moderat, Nicholas Jaar, and Jamie xx, eventually becoming deeply immersed in the House music scene and developing his own distinct sound. His breakthrough came with “Pressure,” released on Radiate, the label founded by Maxi Meraki. The track received support from leading artists including Notre Dame, Sean Doron, Anorre and Maxi Meraki, establishing Cortado as an emerging name within the international House music community. His productions have since received support from artists including Rafael, Dor Danino, Itayga, Niv Ast, and Meera. With his recent release “Make a Livin'" on Other Dimension Records, Cortado has continued to build momentum, breaking into the Top 100 of Beatport’s Indie Dance chart. His productions combine hypnotic melodies, organic textures and driving grooves, reflecting both his musical roots and his ongoing evolution as an electronic artist.
