"I have always wanted to do it all. Being a cellist, a session musician, allows me to work in many different projects and challenge myself.  Writing and making my own music is simply healing" Growing up as a classically trained cellist, Cristii started writing songs in her teen years. She had always been interested in reading and writing stories as well as composing little instrumental pieces. It only made sense, in time, for her to combine both things. The ambiguos storytelling in her lyrics blends into the musical arrangements she often writes influenced by folk and indie pop music. 'Face the world' and her debut EP 'Scars and All', followed by 'Things You Did To Me' and 'Olive Tree' have lead her to her first’ radio play Here With You' in collaboration with Danleymax. She has since embarked on a journey abroad as a cellist in China but keeps releasing music and plans to return next April with a full album under her belt. Love, grief, the fear of being too young and too old at the same time, the passing of time...these are much too relatable topics and in her songs.
