Liverpool metal band CUT SHORT have been building serious momentum lately, sharing stages with bands including Wargasm UK, Dream State and Heart Of A Coward. They’ve also picked up support from major outlets such as BBC Radio 1, Metal Hammer, Kerrang! and Rock Sound, alongside playlisting and coverage across streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, TIDAL and Pandora. Coming out of Liverpool, CUT SHORT channel themes of mental health, burnout and modern decay into a sound that pulls from hardcore, metalcore and progressive metal. Their visuals reflect the same atmosphere, contrasting the city’s fading architecture with the realities of addiction, unemployment and homelessness. Rather than sticking to one lane, the band blend different influences and styles to create something chaotic, heavy and emotionally charged without losing its identity.
