DANA writes songs like diary entries – unfiltered, unflinchingly honest, and for exactly that reason so deeply moving. She speaks about mental health, chosen family and self-empowerment, about the bonds and battles of womanhood. She calls things by their name, addresses pain without softening it, and never loses sight of the quiet hope underneath. Her sound is rooted in pop but reaches further: indie influences, near-gospel choirs, guitar and keys with the unmistakable feel of the 70s and 80s. Sometimes minimalist, sometimes euphoric – but always up close. A songwriting style reminiscent of Holly Humberstone, Griff or Lola Young, turned into something entirely her own. «Der Bund» writes: «And then there is Dana's voice, seeping into your soul like honey. A voice with charisma that unfolds a force and seems capable of anything: to scratch, to flatter, to wound – and to heal.» Having performed over 200 concerts across Europe, been named SRF3 Best Talent, nominated for a Swiss Music Award and opened for Jessie J, DANA has never sounded more like herself. Her third album «Like A Girl» is out spring 2027.
