Daniel Pimentel

Daniel Pimentel Born in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico on July 26, 1981. He began to play the guitar at the age of 12 lyrically in Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco where he later entered formal classes with the teacher and director of Guitar at the University of Guadalajara, Fernando Martínez Peralta in 1999. In Spain he has studied in 2001, 2002 and 2006 with prominent teachers such as Manolo Sanlúcar, José Antonio Rodríguez, Manolo Franco, Paco Serrano, Gerardo Núñez, El Entri, Pedro Sierra, José Luis Rodríguez, Juan Carlos Romero and Antonio Rey. Upon his return from Spain for the first time, he began his professional work with artists from Guadalajara to later do it nationally. Throughout his career he has trained in various styles of music such as jazz, classical and Mexican; also modern harmony with the teacher from Guadalajara, Mario Romero. Collaborations with artists Flamenco artists such as Karen Lugo, Marién Luévano, Karime Amaya, María Elena Anaya, La Morris, Sabas Santos, Lucero Hernández, Natalia Loza, Fernando Martínez, Las Cabales de Guadalajara, Fernando Soto, María Juncal, José Maya, Juañares, Antonio Rey, Leo and Juan Treviño, Erika Suarez among many others; as well as artists from other musical genres such as Juan Gabriel, María José and Paco de María.
