An underground, homegrown electroacoustic artist.
Conceived by musician Daniele Ledda, composer and teacher in Electronic Music at Cagliari Conservatory of music, Clavius is the name given to a family of handmade instruments based on John Cage's concept of the prepared piano. Clavius experiments by mixing analogue and digital environments, pushing the idea of preparation to a new level, reaching the more appropriate definition of augmented instrument driven analogically by a keyboard.
Daniele Ledda plays electroacoustic and experimental electronic music, utilizing custom-built augmented instruments inspired by John Cage's prepared piano tradition.
Daniele Ledda is a multimedia artist and electronic music teacher based in Cagliari, Italy.
