An underground post-rock artist.
Daniel Morrow is a New York-based, British singer/songwriter and producer. He performs under the cleverly disguised pseudonym of danieljmorrow. He also performs, writes and produces with a band, under the even more carefully disguised name, The Morrow https://open.spotify.com/artist/1On3sO2qZFRfbvmewyFq7N?si=tCvkbrdsRJqHdQmPN0inAw Performing as vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist, Daniel initially came to NYC from the U.K. to follow up with RCA about their interest in his first band co-star based in London Daniel fell in love with Brooklyn, formed a new band and began performing regularly throughout the city. Forever oscillating between up-tempo indie rock and introspective singer/songwriter, he eventually settled on a dual approach using danieljmorrow for his solo work and The Morrow for band work. His songs combine the traditional British songwriting influences of The Beatles and Radiohead and even George Michael with some of the more alternative indie music of Elliot Smith, PJ Harvey, Wilco and Pavement.. Daniel has a new collection of material and spent 2023 recording in New York, Nashville and Memphis where he recorded with Calvin Lauber https://open.spotify.com/playlist/17AMwfNGRvUaIiDSouzuKX?si=087a4405bfbf4ef0 You can find more info on his solo and band work at www.danieljmorrow.com
