David Garza

David Garza’s journey from Texas troubadour and '90s cult cassette hero to Grammy-winning producer has been anything but ordinary. Through major label albums and a trove of indie releases, he has embodied the cabaret shaman, the punk provocateur, the poet, the painter – but always the storyteller. Lost & Found: 2004-2025 is a twelve-album collection showcasing the last two decades of work from iconic producer and singer-songwriter David Garza. Launching November 29, 2024, Garza will be releasing one album per month, featuring both previously unreleased and remastered works. Emerging from Austin’s vibrant music scene in 1989, Garza has built a 35-year repertoire spanning over 400 original compositions. His film and podcast scores range from Stanley Tucci’s award winning WWII thriller Pack One Bag to HBO’s political documentary Running With Beto. As a producer, Garza has breathed life into albums by Midland, Hanson, John C. Reilly, Fastball, and Ozomatli, and earned two Grammy Awards for his work with Fiona Apple. As a sought after multi-instrumentalist, he has performed on sessions with legendary artists such as Liza Minnelli, John Legend, Iron & Wine, and Margaret Cho. With extensive experience and discerning taste, Garza has also taken on the role of Music Consultant, most recently for Disney’s An Almost Christmas Story. Lost & Found: 2004-2025 is a long-overdue compendium—a digital rewind of work from the analog heart of this one-of-a-kind artist.
