David Sirkis

David Sirkis is an Israeli drummer, composer, and bandleader who has quickly established himself as one of the most in-demand talents on the New York City jazz scene since his return in the summer of 2023. Known for his versatility and innovative approach to rhythm, Sirkis has had the privilege of performing alongside world-renowned jazz artists such as Gilad Hekselman, Tivon Pennicott, Tyler Mitchell, and many others. In addition to his extensive work as a sideman, Sirkis is also a dedicated bandleader and composer, with two notable album releases to his name - his debut album When It All Starts, a project he led and composed, and Qamar al-Din, the debut album from his band KOMRADIN. Both projects highlight his unique musical voice and commitment to pushing creative boundaries. With his growing presence on the scene, David Sirkis is undoubtedly an artist to watch as his career continues to evolve.
