Derek Darko

Born and raised in the magic city of Miami, Derek had an early intro into a diverse & eccentric lifestyle. After attending his first major music festival, he fell in love with electronic music and knew he wanted to take the stage himself one day. Over the years he’s managed to work his way up in the scene as a DJ, event producer, and nightlife promoter. His skillset behind the decks has earned him residencies and performances in some of Miami’s best venues, and has played support for heavy hitters like Chris Lake, Meduza, Gordo, Martin Ikin, & James Hype. Derek has no lack of diversity, being able to cater to any dance floor whether it be hip hop, latin, pop, and all types of underground/mainstream electronic dance music. In recent years, Derek has focused in on crafting his own sound which is now geared towards the genres of peak time & melodic techno, as well as tech house.
