Derrick Sound is a duo of DJs and producers, co-founders of the Evidence Music label. Formed by Mr Nico and Inspecta Derrick, the collective has established itself as a leading force on the European reggae and dancehall scene thanks to its unique energy and innovative approach to sound system culture. Inspired by legendary figures such as Stone Love, Fire Links, and Tony Matterhorn, Derrick Sound began in the early 2000s in Geneva’s clubs and parties before making a name for themselves in European soundclashes. Their journey quickly led them to develop their own productions and multiply international collaborations. Through their label Evidence Music, they support and produce world-renowned artists such as Capleton, Anthony B, Sizzla, Luciano, and Brother Culture. Today, Derrick Sound continues to spread reggae and dancehall from Geneva to the rest of the world. With hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners on streaming platforms and a constantly evolving catalog, they stand out as true ambassadors of a sound that is both faithful to its roots and boldly future-oriented.
