Detour

Detour Detour is a drum and bass DJ/Producer from Romania. His passion for music has been present since his childhood, but we can say that his journey began when he joined the high school radio team. During this time he learned many mixing techniques resulting the creation of the Detour project in 2009. In 2011 he arrived in Cluj Napoca, the city that radically changed his life. He started to play music in small clubs and pubs, after which in 2012 he won a DJ competition organized by Boiler Club. The prize was a warmup set for the legendary Evil Nine (UK), and a residency spot at the club. As part of the "Boiler family", he was to become a resident DJ at Electric Castle festival as well, where he managed to show the passion and love of music at every edition. Over the years, the list of festivals has grown, appearing at Snow Fest (FR), Untold, Vibe, etc., sharing the stage with artists such as Koven (UK) Noisia (NL), Wilkinson (UK), The Freestylers (UK), Stanton Warriors (UK), Fred V & Grafix (UK) and the list goes on. In 2018 he started the Liqüid Series project to find new and talented artists who deserve to be listened. The project is still in its infancy, but he believes that hard work and patience will push the project to the next level.
