Die! Goldstein, defined as "an audiovisual experience to walking eternally in the noise of emotion", is the Berlin-based audio cinematic experimental project of Diego Barronal: a Spanish sound composer, photographer and video maker with classical music and economic studies background. He released his first album Dystopia Utopia in 2017, presenting it worldwide in a live cinema performance around 22 countries, in cities such as London, Glasgow, Rome, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, Tokyo, Kyoto, Istanbul, Sarajevo, Hanoi and Bangkok, and has shared a stage with bands such as Mogwai, Dave Phillips and Addictive TV. In 2022 he will release his second studio album and audiovisual work called Drowned Paradise, which will be shown worldwide in a new live cinema performance.
Die! Goldstein plays experimental ambient and post-rock music, blending ethereal textures with cinematic noise and narrative structures released via Fluttery Records.
Live performances incorporate immersive live cinema experiences featuring real-time video manipulation alongside electronic soundscapes.
