An underground experimental electronic artist from the local scene.
Dipteran is the sound project by Budapest based visual artist Hanna Szabó-Sáfrány, started in 2023. She operates with an emotionally fueled approach, as she enjoys building a conflicting contrast between expressive melodies/vocals and heavy sounding noise fragments. In her performances she often disguises herself in masks, in previous cases shifting her identity towards a neanderthal. She has performed at events like Zaj+, Noise ‘n Roses, Rak Filmfesztivál, Wounded Healer or UH Fest. She was featured on the 2024 SZELEKTOR compilation by Telekom Electronic Beats.
