2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for DJ Chad95. Representing the new generation of Chicago footwork artists, the son of the late, legendary DJ Rashad recently completed his first European tour following a standout appearance on Moveltraxx’s Street Bangers Factory compilation alongside Traxman, DJ Manny, Big Dope P and DJ Godfather. After a run of US shows, features in Mixmag, Resident Advisor or DJ Mag and collaborations with Jana Rush and DJ Spinn via Teklife, the Mall Music affiliate returns with his debut EP for Moveltraxx. On 'OVER', DJ Chad95 fuses classic and contemporary footwork idioms, weaving in breakbeat influences, ethereal synths and punishing sub-bass. Hypnotic vocal snippets sit atop masterful drum programming, mapping out a forward-looking vision of Chicago footwork. DJ Chad95 isn’t just participating in the genre’s evolution, he’s helping to define it.
