Dogooder is led by singer-songwriters Jacob Moore and Patrick Marino and features veterans of the Austin music scene Isaac Chavez on bass and Dante Muñoz on drums. Jacob and Patrick first began writing music together 10 years ago while living together as UT Austin students. After reuniting in 2025, they picked right back up where they left off, forming Dogooder with Isaac and Dante as a medium for collaboratively reimagining old songs and breaking in new ones. With an indie rock sound influenced by Wilco, MJ Lenderman, and The Strokes that blends slacker rock, alternative country, and art rock, Dogooder is emerging onto the Austin live music scene ready to share heartfelt songs made possible by the endurance of longtime friendships.
