doktorhokashi

Doktorhokashi (Péter Döme) is a Balatonalmádi-based producer crafting intricate, atmospheric soundscapes that bridge the gap between smoky downtempo, cinematic trip-hop, and spiritual dub. His music is a meticulous balance of organic textures and electronic precision, often drawing comparisons to the legendary output of the K&D and Ninja Tune eras. A cornerstone of his sonic universe is the contribution of frequent collaborator Berrybebop, whose velvety, jazz-infused vocals provide a gentle caress for the soul. Together, they weave a unique tapestry of uplifting melodies and deep, nocturnal grooves that resonate far beyond the local scene. The project’s international standing is solidified by collaborations with industry pioneers, including high-profile remixes by Rich Thair (Red Snapper / Dicky Continental) and Riz Maslen (Neotropic). Whether through his releases on Mana Mana Records or his evocative live sets, Doktorhokashi continues to masterfully explore the “spiritually uplifting” side of the electronic underground.
