Douce Angoisse is an independent French darkwave/coldwave artist creating raw, minimal music where punk energy meets dark electronic atmospheres. The last EP “Xanax and coffee” moves through anger, emotional numbness, nocturnal desire, and psychological tension. With stark, repetitive lyrics in English, French, and Spanish, tracks like “Little Fucker,” “Xanax and Coffee,” “Dance to Death,” and “Can’t Get Away” channel confrontation, detachment, and inner unrest. “Raw, hypnotic songs about desire, alienation, and the impossibility of escaping yourself.” Produced with a stripped-down, atmospheric approach, the EP was released independently as a dark and uncompromising statement.
