Dream Prescription

Drawing on influences ranging from Depeche Mode to Interpol, New York City band Dream Prescription creates music that wrestles with questions of what we want and what we dream of. The band is led by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Tim Robert, whose career has included rock theater writing/performing and EDM production/DJing. The latter led Release Promo DJ Pool to call him “one of the USA’s brightest stars in progressive house.” Robert has enlisted several creative collaborators, beginning with synthesist Kent Friedman, who was the first producer to release psychedelic trance on vinyl in the U.S. In 2023, the band expanded their live act, which currently includes bassist/vocalist David Leatherwood and drummer Adam Fischel. Dream Prescription’s recorded output has led to a steadily growing international fanbase. The band has played at many well-respected NYC venues such as The Bowery Electric, Berlin Under A, TV Eye and more. In 2026, Dream Prescription intends to expand their reach with live dates throughout the northeastern U.S.
