An underground, homegrown melodic rap artist.
Born on January 28, 2004, in Hartford, Connecticut, Alejandro Eliasib Sical—professionally known as Dro1000X—is an emerging voice for a generation learning to turn pain into purpose. As the first U.S.-born child of immigrant parents, Dro was raised with the belief that anything is possible, yet often faced pressure to follow a “normal” path. That internal conflict pushed him into a period of self-doubt—until he chose to break free from limitation and pursue music not for fame, but to give people something real. Dro1000X’s sound is a fusion of influences—early 2010s hits, Spanish classics from his childhood, R&B, melodic rap, pop, acoustic and alternative rhythms—creating a deeply personal yet relatable style. He grew up surrounded by music, from choir classes to hearing his dad play guitar and piano. Today, his creative process is like that of a DJ in his own mind—reconstructing every sound he’s absorbed into something new and emotionally honest. His breakthrough came when he realized his “why”: to create for others, not just himself. Every song reflects his journey—from family struggles and emotional battles to rising above discouragement with vulnerability and strength. With mottos like “When it’s your turn, you better shine,” Dro1000X is building more than a catalog—he’s building a movement. Find Dro on all platforms @deathrace4dro
