ELIGY

ELIGY is the representation of "everything" for artist/producer Elijah Jones. Growing up in Northridge, California as half-African American/half-Korean, the cultural blends of his upbringing secured an integral role in the development of his diverse musical style & fashionable modern aesthetic. The “everything” in ELIGY’s sound begins with his production style of blending electronic techniques with live acoustic instruments like drums, guitar, & bass guitar. However, the “everything” of ELIGY’s sound continues to extend from his clear display of multiple influences. From haunting falsettos on top of active alternative textures resembling keshi & Childish Gambino, to being enamored by the innovative sound design of Skrillex & brakence, ELIGY finds comfort in the differences. It is the crossroad of these genres where ELIGY carves his niche with an ever-expanding palette of versatility, or as he likes to put it, “everything”.
