A nostalgic, polished impressionism artist.
Elodie Vignon is the first woman in over 55 years to record the complete piano works of Claude Debussy. The first double album of Monsieur Debussy, Soirs d’or, was released in January 2025 on label Cypres. Since 2018, Elodie Vignon has collaborated with the Cypres label on projects built around the modern figure that Claude Debussy represented. Beginning with the cycle of Études in 2018 , she continued with D’ombres in 2020 (featuring works by Claude Ledoux and Henri Dutilleux), before turning to two inspirational figures for Debussy in Dans l’air du soir in 2021, in which she explored Isaac Albéniz and Franz Liszt. Then, following an album with French contralto Sarah Laulan, Vignon had the opportunity to record a concerto album with the Czech Virtuosi, under the baton of Eric Lederhandler, released in 2024 (Songes). For the coherence of her repertoire and the quality of her work, Vignon’s recordings have very frequently been acclaimed by critics (Musiq3, Radio Classique, France Musique, RCF Brussels, RCF Lyon, Radio Judaïca, Diapason, Classica, Joker from Crescendo Magazine, Coup de cœur from Larsen Magazine, Pianist Magazine Germany, Piano Magazine Germany, etc.). The pianist has established partnerships with Belgian institutions. She also performs in France, and in Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland). She was a guest of the Piano Festival of Manila in the Philippines and is regularly invited to the United States.
Elodie Vignon performs classical piano music, specializing in French impressionist works and chamber music, notably the complete piano repertoire of Claude Debussy on the Cypres label.
