Eric Schenkman

Tracks5

Eric Schenkman is an American-Canadian guitarist and producer, best known as a founding member of the Spin Doctors. Growing up in Toronto, where his father was principal cellist for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Eric co-wrote the band's global hits, including "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong." Aside from a 1995–2001 hiatus, Eric has remained with the band through their album "Face Full of Cake." During his break, he played on Natalie Merchant’s landmark album "Tigerlily," contributed to the Hendrix tribute "In From The Storm," and fronted his trio, The Chrysalids. For the past decade, Eric has maintained a weekly residency at Toronto’s Grossman’s Tavern. This creative hub inspired his solo debut, "Who Shot John?" and his upcoming album, "Ten Smiles," led by the single "Recipe."
