Eva McBel’s musical journey took shape at 18 in Madrid, honing her craft in the open mic scene at El Búho Real. In 2020, she released her debut EP, 'Some Kind of Portrait', winning ‘Best EP’ at the Premios de la Música Aragonesa. Written mainly in English, with nods to Jacob Banks and The Lumineers, the record made global waves, appearing on US radio and on soundtracks like 'Élite', 'Neighbours', and 'The Ferragnez'. Cementing her reputation through powerful live shows, Eva has shared the stage with international artists like Paolo Nutini, LP, Cat Power, and Dean Lewis, while gracing prestigious festivals including Spain's SanSan and Sonorama Ribera, and Germany's Reeperbahn Festival. This momentum fueled her debut album, 'I’m Glad You Happened'. The record explores emotional responsibility, family wounds, and the complexities of modern love with a fresh, honest perspective. Teaching life lessons tenderly yet intelligently, she proved her capacity for fearless exploration into a vast emotional landscape without losing the songwriting at her core. In 2026, expands her horizons by stepping into the role of producer, both for herself and other artists. Crafted between London and Spain, her highly anticipated second album, "To all the people I've loved", will be released this year. Stripping away the noise to deliver pure, sophisticated pop, McBel redefines her sound while building the emotional bridges that make her music an undeniable refuge.
