EZ Band was founded by Agustin, Jaime's father, alongside Jaime's uncles, Kiko and Nico, under the name "Viento Norteño". Together, they laid the foundation for a rich musical tradition, showcasing vibrant Norteño sounds. Over time, the band evolved, blending Norteño, Cumbia, and other genres into the unique sound fans know today. Known for creating Spanglish renditions of timeless songs, EZ Band bridges linguistic and cultural divides with every performance, uniting audiences through the universal language of music. Their innovative adaptations resonate with Spanish and English speakers alike, blending nostalgia with a refreshing twist. EZ Band has gone viral across social media, amassing millions of likes and followers. They’ve been featured in outlets like The New York Times, NPR, and Houston media such as ABC13. They've played at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Miller Outdoor Theatre, and even the halftime show for the Houston Dynamo.
