Fake Your Own Death was born out of a studio apartment located above a bar in Berlin, where Terry Ashkinos was studying the fall of the Soviet Union and eating pretzels. A handful of songs soon became a collaboration between Terry, drummer Scott Eberhardt, bass and synth player Adrian McCullough, and guitar and synth player Shane Ryan. Tight beats and sharp guitars complement a bass-heavy vibe that is post-punk at its finest.
