Fallow Days formed in 2025 after guitarist Zach Garcia and drummer Cam Coker split from their previous NYC-based indie rock band to form a new group with deeper, heavier punk and post-hardcore roots. Zach and Cam soon recruited Noah Durliat to play second guitar, and a few months later they entrusted Devon Lee with the task of supplying their rip-roaring songs with raw vocals and world-building lyrics. Devon is an art conservator who specializes in the care of natural history collections, and her lyrics reflect the themes of death, selective memory, nature, and preservation that she has devoted her life to studying.
