Freshly formed in 2023, Fifth Column is a wild mix of nu-metal with elements of grunge, and trash. Fueled by inspirations from bands like Korn, Deftones and Snot, Fifth Column searches for a new sound of rythm-based metal, coming right out of Warsaw’s underground. Catchy rythmical riffs produced by Chris Gawroński are pimped by high pitched guitar bends and solo parts of Piotr Kasprzak. Ripping vocals of Igor Ponikowski fit the energetic guitar like a glove and the drums of Maciej Piłaciński and basslines of Eryk Kobus lay a solid foundation for the band’s overall sound. It all blends into a powerful kick that lands straight where it hurts.
