Three dudes screaming at the top of their lungs about emotional and social frustrations. That’s where the name Fighting Flies comes in to play. Describing all of the issues that plague this world like annoying flies that won’t leave you alone. Fighting flies formed in 2017 in Athens when two film students, Marios(vocalist,guitarist) and Diamantis(drummer, backing vocalist) expressed their love for punk rock. Some member changes after they found the god of bass Mihalis(bass no shit). Inspired by bands like; Planet Of Zeus, Sum 41 and the Foo Fighters. Their debut album “Chaos And Disarray” released 4/3/2025. With heavy riffs, loud screams and a neck breaking fast pace with songs like “Stuck In The Head” and “Chaos And Disarray”. The album also has some slower moments but still heavy with songs like “Better With Time” and the darker more alternative “On Their Knees”. Fighting Flies belong to a cluster of fast and heavy punk rock with some nu-metal inspired riffs who love trying to find some clarity and a deeper meaning through their lyrics.
