INEXACTA is an independent music and visual storytelling project where literature, sound, cinema, and cultures converge. Rooted in Brazil but shaped by a creative vision without borders, INEXACTA transforms literature, poetry, history, and cultural memory into original music and cinematic experiences. Its work moves freely across Latin America, Europe, the Mediterranean, North Africa, the Middle East, and beyond, bringing different languages, rhythms, traditions, and stories into conversation. The name INEXACTA reflects the philosophy behind the project: art does not have to fit neatly into categories. A novel can become a song. A poem can become a film. A story written generations ago can find an entirely new voice. Brazilian music can encounter Arabic rhythms, blues, jazz, electronic sounds, and musical traditions from across the world, creating something that belongs not to one place, but to the space between them. INEXACTA celebrates cultural exchange rather than cultural boundaries, combining writing, composition, research, experimentation, visual storytelling, and contemporary technology as parts of a fundamentally human creative process.
