An underground roots reggae artist.
Fred Debs is a self-taught musician from a mountain village in Lebanon called Freikeh. His sound was forged through social dynamics, travel, transition, immigration and a deep apprenticeship in Kingston, Jamaica🇱🇧🇬🇳🇯🇲 After years of creative collaboration behind the scenes with Grammy award nominated Pele Fyah (one of the founders of Raging Fyah, then F.Y.A.H) Fred is stepping forward with a sound he calls Traveling By Soul; a soulful blend of Reggae, Folk, and Country which, in an increasingly digital world, he often plays acoustically in person on guitar and harmonica. From the Lebanese hills and valleys to the global stage, Fred's music is alot about balance, empathy, attention to nuances, ego management and upliftment. With the early 2026 release of his debut single, Seasons, and an EP in the works, Fred Debs delivers a message on the inevitability of everyday struggles, but also the inevitability of the blessings. Let's make a dance of the ups and the downs, follow the journey! 1Love!
