Friday 22nd was a headline show in De Pul and Saturday 23rd we played the Prog Dreams XI festival, Poppodium Boerderij. It was glorious!! We'll also be playing Summers End Festival, Chepstow UK October 5th. The songs of Freedom To Glide (f2g) unfold like hidden chapters, blending cinematic ambition with an unflinching honesty about war, loss, and the long search for meaning. It's progressive, yes — but not for the sake of complexity. It's storytelling with a pulse. At the core of f2g’s sound and artistic vision are Andy Nixon and Pete Riley, two musicians whose collaboration began when they performed together in the Pink Floyd tribute show, Dark Side of the Wall. Their mutual interest in exploring profound themes through music led them to form f2g, where Nixon’s role as the lead vocalist, lead guitarist, primary songwriter, and producer, is perfectly complemented by Riley’s contributions as composer, keyboardist, and visual creative.
