Gabriel is a 33-year-old bassist and double bassist from Bordeaux with a rich background in both classical and jazz music. He has performed alongside renowned artists such as Mike Stern, Roy Hargrove, Fred Nardin, Alain Jean-Marie, and Theo Croker. Starting cello at age six, he later transitioned to electric bass at fourteen and studied jazz at the conservatories of Bordeaux and Paris. His diverse training has shaped a precise, expressive double bass style, refined through performances across France, New York, Cuba, Brazil, and throughout Europe. Based in Paris, Gabriel is an active sideman and emerging bandleader, having just recorded his debut album, 'Until Now". He has also collaborated on artistic projects, including a fashion show for Issey Miyaké. His music blends deep sensitivity with a wide range of influences, creating an experience that resonates with lasting impact.
