Gareth Freiheit is a Dublin musician embedded in London’s tight-knit Irish DIY scene, known for a commitment to old-school studio craft and strong live chops. Inspired in equal parts by Phil Lynott's showmanship and Mic Christopher's poetic baritone, he writes road-trip-leaning guitar rock in the lineage of Tom Petty with lyrics about the modern world we live in. He incorporates a strong viual style into his music in the form of self-produced music videos and reels. Growing up in Munich’s vibrant and eclectic Irish theater enclave in the 90s he was surrounded by actors, outcasts and chancers - all family friends. It was with this community that he first developed his love of music and the films that inform his visuals.
