Independent hip hop mainstay Gel Roc (Pronounced with a hard G!) returns with his latest full-length release, Out of Style, Out of Service, a focused new collaboration with vocalist, musician, and producer Ariano. While marking the first full-length collaboration between Gel Roc and Ariano, the project reveals an immediate creative chemistry rooted in mood, musicality, and emotional depth. Known for his introspective lyricism and uncompromising artistic vision, Gel Roc continues expanding the personal and sonic terrain explored on his previous release, Loss Control: Buttons, Fades, & Memoirs. Long recognized as a powerful vocalist and recording artist in his own right, Out of Style, Out of Service incorporates live instrumentation including live bass and saxophone performances giving the album an organic warmth that bridges traditional musicianship with underground hip hop aesthetics. Continuing Gel Roc’s tradition of presenting music as a complete artistic experience, the visual direction for Out of Style, Out of Service was created by Brain A in collaboration with Gel Roc, with layout design by Eric Propr.
