Ghenwa Nemnom is a pioneering qanun player and electronic music artist redefining how the ancient Middle Eastern instrument can exist on the world stage. Trained at the Lebanese National Conservatory from the age of eight, and later immersed in global arts and culture in the United States, she carries a deep foundation in tradition — but her vision has always been futuristic. From Scorpios Mykonos to the beaches of Dubai, Ghenwa has taken the qanun out of its classical context and placed it at the heart of electronic soundscapes. Her performances are a dialogue between past and future: the soul of the qanun intertwined with Afro, Latin, and melodic house grooves that ignite modern dance floors.
