Gigi Testa

Gigi Testa channels his vast musical taste and knowledge in his own music. Influenced by different cultures and musical styles, his djing incorporates elements which gravitate around worldwide rhythms and electronic experimental sounds. The same versatility is also reflected in his music productions, releasing music on Rush Hour Music with the 4 track EP “Esoteric Paradise” and “Jinja”, establishing a solid connection with the label. He has released music on Compost with a remix for Arno e Mathieu and on his own "World Peace Music” label having Ron Trent remixing his track “Saudade For Salvador”. These recent music projects take his self-proclaimed “World Music meets Club Music” approach in a new direction without any restrictions or categories. Gigi has been a regular DJ at the Neuhm events, and he is now resident DJ and sound designer at the well known audiophile venue Basic Club He has recently opened Organica Records, record store right in the heart of Napoli's city center.
