Give It To ’Em, FLORABELLE! is a Missoula, Montana–based rock ‘n’ soul, spaghetti western, indie-funk super band led by singer-songwriter and creative director Cara Schulz. Born in Cody, Wyoming, Schulz began performing jazz standards with her grandparents before turning to songwriting and developing a sound rooted in jazz, country storytelling, soul, and the spirit of the Northern Rockies. Known for her powerhouse vocals and theatrical stage presence, she delivers performances that are as captivating as they are unpredictable. The band’s name comes from the 1938 Shirley Temple film Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm, where the line, “Give it to ’em, Florabelle!” inspires a young singer before her audition. The phrase later became Cara’s mother’s tradition before every performance, eventually growing into the band’s name and philosophy: give every audience everything you’ve got. After returning to Montana in 2023, Schulz assembled some of the region’s finest musicians to create a one-of-a-kind live experience. Formerly known as WARPONY, the band has become known throughout the Northwest as “Montana’s Favorite Super Band.” Expect soaring musicianship, crowd interaction, surprise guests, dancing, laughter, and enough joyful chaos to make every show unforgettable.
